Hungry Birds

I love love love this place! It's super cute and cosy. The staff are helpful and friendly. I'm a Coeliac and found no shortage of gluten free options on the brunch menu. I especially enjoyed the full English breakfast. For takeaway, my friends and I picked up some cakes for afternoon tea. There was so much to choose from and so many were gluten free! My favourite is the Cherry Bakewell. Highly recommend! :)

This is a lovely little cafe near the market square in Oakham. The welcome and service we received was exceptional. The staff were helpful and friendly. If we lived closeby, we would visit often.

Absolutely beautiful little cafe hidden away in Oakham. Wonderful food and even better staff. Nothing is too much for these ladies and the service is above and beyond. The also cater for vegans, coeliacs and vegetarians and have a vast selection of goods!

Just wow!! The food available here is just amazing!!! I struggle to find good vegetarian meals that aren’t just full of spice to give taste and well I have never tasted a toastie this amazing! Full of flavour and no spice at all ! My partner had a wrap which was also amazing! If only we could replicate these at home! If your considering going to here this your sign of a MUST visit! For drinks we had a milkshake and a smoothie both amazing with such a good variety of drinks! We didn’t try the cakes but I can only imagine they tasted amazing with how they looked, only regret is not asking to take a cake home! And the service team was lovely, exactly what customers want and more Can’t wait to come back

Just arrived In Oakham, ready for a drink and came home this place! Funky yet chic, welcoming staff with characterful environment. Amazing array of cakes! I had Welsh Rarebit which was delicious and my husband had a falafel wrap which was substantial, filing and very tasty. With drinks it cost us circa 17 and was worth every penny.

Best. Rocky. Road. Ever.No, seriously it is the size of a house brick and tastes absolutely wonderful. 5* to the person who made it!Apart from the cakes, it's a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and a great selection of food, cake and drinks.I'm already planning a return visit !

Despite visiting Oakham for many years, first visit to this delightful little cafe just off the High Street. Quirky interior furnishings. Even a couple of All Fresco tables. Will return.
